
The brief
As a primary marketing tool, the web site needed to reflect the company's brand imagery and follow a
quality line. The appearance and navigation needed to be clean and simple, while providing full
details of the company and its message to clients.

The execution
The company's existing marketing agency provided images and design guidelines, while Activia advised
on what would and would not work on the web. The exercise was extremely enjoyable and
fulfilling, and was an excellent example of successful migration of a company's existing branding
to the very different medium of the web.
The web site uses extensive cross-linking and several places feature feedback forms and price guides.
Yet a basic simplicity is retained.
The left-hand navigation menu, with its sliding buttons, was a feature that we had not seen
elsewhere and was therefore particularly interesting to construct.

Results
The web site is used as a valuable component of the company's marketing toolkit, and is able to
reinforce the Goldstar brand with negligible operating costs.
Activia also provides full website hosting and maintenance of the web site.
